Digital X-Rays
Digital X-Rays

Our office uses the latest in digital x-ray technology. Digital x-rays offer a detailed image of your entire mouth and also offer up to 80% less radiation than traditional film x-rays.

X-rays play an invaluable role in the diagnosis of dental problems, as well as provide a clear picture for a dentist to accurately diagnose and provide the necessary treatment.

We place a small sensor in your mouth. The sensor is connected to a computer by a thin wire. Next, an x-ray beam is sent through your teeth and into the sensor, which records the image of your teeth and sends it to the computer. The sensor can then be repositioned to image other sections of your teeth.

The digital dental x-ray system is more sensitive than dental x-ray film systems, so your exposure to x-rays is cut by as much as 90 percent. The large and color-enhanced images let you see what your dentist sees, so it's easier for you to understand how your dentist will treat your teeth. Your dental checkups take less time, and it's fun to watch this system work! Most patients are amazed.

Digital Panoramic X-Rays
Digital Panoramic X-Rays

A panoramic x-ray is capable of providing a very detailed image of the entire mouth. This includes the teeth, jaw, sinuses and TMJ. It allows the doctor to see how everything looks and can compare how everything is working in relation to each other.

Diode Laser
Diode Laser

The Diode Laser is a great tool for shaping the gums and removing bacteria from the periodontal pocket, the space between the gums and tooth. Dental cleanings performed with diode laser therapy significantly improve the success of healing the gums. Inflammation, bleeding, pocket depths, and the amount of bacteria are all greatly reduced as opposed to just scaling and polishing the teeth alone. Best of all, laser therapy has been shown to improve circulation and increase the components that speed healing, referred to as Biostimulation. With any oral procedure or surgery, Biostimulation reduces pain and swelling and can help your mouth recover more quickly.

Distilled Water
Distilled Water

We use distilled water rather than tap water to help safeguard against germs and contamination.

Intra-Oral Camera

Our office uses an intra-oral exam in order to allow the patient to see the what the doctor sees at the same time. This allows the patient to understand the issues the doctor is seeing and helps the doctor in discussing treatment plans.

Isolite

Isolite is the only dental device that delivers continuous illumination, aspiration and retraction all in one easy-to-use, time-saving device that makes isolation easy and provides uninterrupted access to your mouth. Isolite helps your dentist work safer, faster, brighter and drier.

Micro Ultrasonic Scaling
Micro Ultrasonic Scaling

We provide our patients with the luxury of Ultrasonic Scaling. It is more comfortable for patients and allows for the scaling process to be completed faster than having to 'scrape' tooth surfaces like the conventional scaling process.

Opalescence Take Home Whitening

Opalescence Take Home Whitening Gels are only available from your dentist, who will supervise your treatment from initial consultation through completion. The sticky, viscous gel won't migrate to gums and most formulations include Potassium Fluoride (PF), which helps to improve oral health by strengthening enamel, decreasing sensitivity and offering increased cavity prevention.

ZOOM Whitening

The Zoom Whitening System is available in our office. This system can whiten teeth by an average of nine shades lighter in around an hour. Anyone who wants to brighten their smile can take advantage of this system, even individuals who have food, tobacco, or tetracycline stains can benefit from this procedure.

Single Visit Whitening

One hour bleaching systems use a very bright light to activate higher bleaching concentrations to produce faster, more dramatic whitening results.

The technician will protect your mouth very carefully using cotton rolls, gauze and a liquid dam.

A special whitening lamp is used to activate the whitening gel for approximately 60 minutes.
